When he isn’t performing for charity, Hariharan is busy exploring his musical fidelity in different genres – be it Rock, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Rap. He pioneered Fusion Music with the band, Colonial Cousins. He also created an entirely new genre called Urdu Blues, which has received critical acclaim all over the world.

Over the last 15 years of imparting musical wisdom, not just through his performances and renditions, but also through his intent to pass on his knowledge, he now plans on creating a School of Music where he can train not just students into singers, but also gurus that can keep spreading the wondrous intricacies of Indian Classical Music. To that effect, even at 62 years of age, he continues to pursue his duty towards Indian music, taking seminars and workshops where he imparts his experiences and techniques. With a 40-year-old musical career, 35 Ghazal albums, and over 5,000 songs in different languages under his belt, Hariharan is a true legend in the Indian Music Industry.

He’ll be conducting a masterclass on LivDemy, on “Aakaar”. Click here  to register for the masterclass
